Egg snacks for boa constrictors?

I'm beginning to understand why a lot of people don't like Reddit....lots of preachiness and unsolicited advice. I'm already very aware of what you and /u/almightyshadowchan have pointed out. That's the whole point of this egg idea, trying to find a balance of adequate feeding without overfeeding or putting excessive stress on her digestive system. I recognize that there are a lot of uneducated snake owners, hell, a lot of uneducated pet owners in general out there. However, I am NOT one of them.

Clearly neither of you properly read my original post. I adopted her as a RESCUE. If an animal has been RESCUED that typically means they were being mistreated and are in poor condition...the notes on her adoption file were sickening. Found in a filthy enclosure, multiple defecations in the slime-coated water bowl, inadequate heat, and so on. As a result of this disastrous care, she was also severely underweight when I got her. She has improved wonderfully and is filling out but STILL underweight. Yes, "triangular" since I'm apparently too stupid to figure this out without comparing her body to kindergarten shapes. So quite frankly, I'm going to feed her when she's looking for it until she's back to a healthy weight.

I understand that this is all coming from a well meaning place, at least, that's what I'd like to believe. But ffs, I have literally 2 more courses left and then will graduate with BSc's in both neuroscience, and molecular cell biology with a zoology minor. Pretty sure I know what I'm doing here. Especially considering that most of the reptile community "experts" can't even come to an agreement on proper care guidelines, I'm going to continue caring for my pet in the same way that has so far made for a happy and healthy snake.
Case in point, 3 different care sheets, all with "proper" care information that differs in at least one area, if not more: http://www.redtailboas.com/general_care/general_care.shtml http://vpi.com/publications/boa_constrictor http://www.reptilesmagazine.com/Snake-Care/Boa-Constrictor-Caring-For/ Yeah, I asked a question, because no one's bothered to do a published study on the very specific scenario of captive boas and store-bought chicken eggs. The scientific community has bigger fish to fry. However, I don't need an entire care lecture in response to a fairly specific inquiry. So please, stop wasting your time here and go "educate" the people who actually need to be taught from the very beginning. I have the answer I was looking for, and zero desire to hear anything more.
