The response is easy: any and all goods clearing customs with Egyptian owners gets detained for two weeks with inspection assessment charges. If they know of Egyptian assets in-country now would be a good time for them to have "accidents." Make visa applications harder, PNG embassy/consulate staff, or even close down any extra missions. There's lots of options for retribution.
