The Egyptians need your help this time.

-1. Hany Ramzy is a convicted and confessing sex offender my dude. While he was a decent level Bundesliga player he had a lot of stories going on outside the pitch in Germany.

-2. Furthermore, well aware of nationalist egyptians downvoting me, your entire country is a massive dissapointment - and that's coming from someone who's country is the endboss in dissapointing humanity - I basically gave up caring through the whole revolution - back to military dictatorship thing. Your country is inept of progressive change in itself and you think some foreign lads signing a petition will change like anything for you and the coptic community? Even more so I project the christians(I'm not christian myself) in majority muslim countries to get in even worse circumstances the coming decade - without knowing your situation the general default advice should be rather than to care about football, bounce my friend. I judge your country more unyielding than other muslim countries because you should know better, you had enough contact to 'freedom', made yourself friends with the US-Military Industry, have Internet, contact to all kind of people via mass tourism.

-3. my next admittedly controversial point, even by my associated fandom via LFC of Mo Salah I came across so much irrational hatred (Ramos/ Sadio/ Klopp) in Egyptian people it's just sad and love or admiration is never an excuse for that as is simultaneously proven by millions of nonegyptian Mo- and LFC-Fans around the globe. Just hardcore ultranationalism and the perception that an Egyptian is more worth than people from other countries/ethnic group - again already finished that game in history

-4. from my understanding a coptic FC would be a constant security risk as it would present a target for terror and violence, I think you have to decide wheter the idealism of having an coptic FC is worth of the people lost in attacks, behind the computer it's easy to say for me go the idealistic route, just like the normal football riots in egypt are so massive that I doubt that it really is worth it

-5. last: Your headline implies that Egypt has done something for lfc or helped us? Sorry to break it to you, I don't care about massively overrun online polls that get the golden boy awards he may or may not deserve. And that Mo Salah is Egyptian is not an achievement of Egypt, if anything you could argue he was molded in various european countries too, starting with switzerland. In short: Egypt has done shit for me or LFC therefore I don't owe an signature.

  1. I wish you and the coptic community the best for the future, I alone lack faith
