The El Duce Tapes (2020) TRAILER "In the early 90s, aspiring filmmaker Ryan Sexton lugged a giant camcorder into some of the seediest clubs and filthiest apartments in Hollywood. There he filmed hour upon hour of VHS footage of the jaw-droppingly offensive Shock Rock band The Mentors." [00:01:49]

Yeah the r/news mods remove anything that doesn't call Kyle Rittenhouse a terrorist scumbag. That comment ended up with 10 awards and was second most upvoted in the thread but they removed it. On a previous thread I'd simply linked to the statute on the WI gov't website saying it's legal for 17 year olds to open carry rifles- like no commentary, just linked directly to the actual statute and cut-paste it- and they removed the comment and said it was "spreading terror apologia". I guess legal statutes are terror apologia now, lol.

It definitely makes me salty that one of the biggest subs on one of the biggest websites in the world are so actively censoring to shape the narrative and bury the facts, but it also makes me feel better that when you see those threads and crazy people ranting about Kyle being a terrorist- it's just because mods are removing all the sensible comments. If you get to those threads early before the mods nuke them you'll see most people are pretty reasonable about stuff. So, silver lining I guess. But agree it's super fucked up how bad the censorship is and how clearly they're working to shape the narrative and pit people against each other.
