Elderly people should not be allowed to buy smartphones unless they take a mandatory cellphone education class

s/?

The cost of paying said people to implement said infrastructure has not gone up?

Or the people who maintain it?

Or the amount of call center reps needed before then previously and the minimum wage?

Or the cost of the cellphones?

I mean at&t etc are not the manufacturer of cellphones yet if you want a contract you have to get one from them or even best buy for example is not a "manufacturer" yet why are their prices so high?

Cost of employees?

Rent for their building etc?

Its sounds like you are the person who does not understand business...

Grocery stores dont "manufacture" their stock but its not just that, that controls the price.

I wouldnt expect an r/iamverysmart like yourself to understand.
