Electrical Outlet Safety Questions

Stop being so condescending dude. Of course I understand what current is. Milliamps of current can reliably kill a human if applied in the correct place, I understand basic biology. But obviously we don't consider the consequences of handling a 9 volt battery "death" just because one dude poked the terminals into an open artery once and died. Risk is always a trade off, and while I make all attempts to avoid touching anything even in the neighborhood of 120 volts, I don't think it's too crazy to be curious about what the actual risk is (and no, "death" is not the risk, a risk is a consequence along with a probability). And yeah, of course I could go ask a computer for the answer, fuck me for wanting to talk to a human being.
