I'm actually done in this industry pretty soon and I don't run any cars. I just think its funny at least in Kingston since no plate value but capped at 220 taxi's ....no limits on licences either so about 650 drivers. I have come to the conclusion Uber's brainwashing sessions include something about this that that is very vague. Now these things may be true someplace but not here. Our taxi service can be better tho. When I started as a professional and the 2008 market crash hit only because of taxi am I ok. If it was Uber the first bit would be good but eventuality I'd take all risk and make nothing for some sack of shit who takes a bigger cut, passes all the risk to the drivers and , (in my case yes they did try even thou I am an insurance agent) incites insurance fraud. Plus cut rates eventually so I wouldn't be able to survive, not pay any corporate tax in Canada because its a loophole in the Netherlanders. Don't inform drivers of HST. No apptip. The countless sexual assaults. The fact that Uber is owned by the elite (Top 5%) since min investment is 250000 for direct shares. So it benefits the rich tax free while depriving society of its fair share.. So I have no financial incentive to currently help, but I played my part. Lets just say the victims of fraud were directly informed. And besides if you wana work and undercut an industry why in the name of all that is holey would you drive a taxi for under 12 bucks an hour after expenses. MOD yes I believe I have a taxi receipt here and ask any Kingston Uber here and they will tell you average fair is 10 or less. Which makes Ubers cut 36% with S.R.F. Now I met a dew good Ubers. Come to taxi and make more take home with no financial risk (still danger) since I hope bottom 5--7% of taxi drivers will be toast since we are copying Ubers only real innovation.
