ELI5: Why does the internet seem to hate Hilary Clinton so much when she seems to support a lot of the things the internet does as well?

won't provide any answers that will help the majority of citizens.

More like she, along with other so called "liberals", will steal socialist social messages and economic proposals for real change and then maybe pass something that once resembled all that, but is ultimately a lackluster shell that's had a part, or parts, of its significant effect gutted compromised.

Hillary is pro-Wall Street, pro Big Bank and hawkish on foreign policy. People know that with Hillary they'll get a few social advances for women and minorities, but otherwise it'll be business as usual for the 1% and the 99% will have to continue paying for it.

I don't dispute the Wall Street, Bank, and Hawkish Policy, but I doubt that she would leave women behind on social issues. Minorities will get attention out of the need for their votes, but unless Democrats get back control then don't even expect anything to even be brought that doesn't also include defunding an unrelated program, enhanced border security, throwing out everyone that still came illegally, and reaffirming that English is still the preferred spoken language even though nobody was suddenly trying to force society to speak Spanish or Canadian.

And people are starting to figure out the the entire election is just a show and that Hillary's Presidency is pre-determined. It's difficult to muster any enthusiasm when so many people know the fix is in.

I blame those people just as much as the party. The public that would vote Democrat clearly want Elizabeth Warren to run. She won't run and frankly she needed where she's at just as badly as we need someone like her as a presidential candidate. The closest politician to her I can find with an actual interest in running for president is Bernie Sanders and anyone who feels like Warren should run either doesn't know who Bernie Sanders is or doesn't give a fuck and wants Warren. He's basically the left Ron Paul in the lack of attention department. Meanwhile, the only other Democrat that's currently announced is some other old white guy that people know about a fraction as much as they do Bernie Sanders.

Also, the news media is to blame for practically outright nominating Hillary Clinton themselves back in 2013 when they couldn't even wait an entire fucking year before talking about the possible "2016 hopefuls".

So Hillary is the lesser of two evils right now, but she still represents something pretty evil.

Evil is a stretch, but it's definitely not a representation of a democracy working the way it was intended.
