ELI5: why do people get random long white hairs, that are easy to pull, and that are only noticed once they're 2 inches long, in strange spots on their body?

"Wasn't that long ago." It clearly was.

"Dyslexic people told they were stupid." Normally by teachers.

"Chronic fatigue sufferers told they were lazy." And yet eventually despite it people can be heard.

I'm all for your idea regarding keeping an open mind but you're combining the idea that people have been proved wrong in the past with bullshit and therefore "if one thing is true, everything must be considered true."

Frankly I find the way you talk to be borderline conspiratorial. You're not doing medicine or 'the truth" any favours. Your comment starts off with a lie that the fibres could not be identified which is a complete fabrication.

Then, you CALL it an autoimmune disease? Despite having no authority to do so? And it is not recognised by one? Do you even know how you'd go about classing a disease as one?

Then alien abduction is mentioned to add weight to the credibility. Look i'm not the guy you replied to originally, i'm just bored and on my phone but your hostility towards him is clearly based around a mistrust towards doctors, and from what you've said, around what's happened to you, which I am sympathetic about.
