As for these Ambien experiments you speak of... that's quite a claim you're making. That might actually be of more interest to me than the new-age-poetics you started off your comment with, provided it's true. Care to share a link?

I mean was it just a couple of patients that reacted that way to Ambien, or was there a true larger study conducted? If so that is a HUGE breakthrough in caring for comatose patients, as it would allow a number of them to wake up and interact with relatives, before settling back down again into the comatose state.

You'd think people and labs would be scrambling to MRI and scan their brains during this process, with lots of papers being written?
