And yes, someone trying to buy up an entire company has to pay a premium. That's true whether or not the shares are DRSed though, in fact it's completely irrelevant. If there's a hundred shareholders each with one share then there's a hundred shareholders, period. It doesn't matter how the individuals hold their shares.

As far as the rambling about shorts, that's just the classic GME bullshit. A single share can close multiple short positions so for the thesis to work apes would have to lock the float. Which has been proven multiple times to not be the case.
