Junkie unity man! :D

Course, I worked in a technical field that used to be just filthy with smokers, because lots of ex-military people, and just generally stimulant addicts got into that line of work.

I smoked rarely to never, but used to visit home, where cigarette were like half price. So, on the way back, grab 4 boxes for about $20-$25 each(if that doesn't prove this is WAY past the statute of limitations, I don't know what will) Usually Marlie Reds, Camel Wides, Marlie menthols, maybe something cheap and shitty like Basic Reds, or Salems if they were on sale, but mostly good grade stuff. Snag some Djarums if they had em, 4-5 bottles of everclear, and back on the road we go.

500 miles later, I'm getting double to triple money without trying. Sell singles at work, $1 a pop to people fooling themselves that they were gonna stop that way.

Course, the market is variable. Sometimes I'd get stuck with something like Marlie Menthols, and people didn't want em if they had a choice, but they'd smoke em because they were addicted. So, only made 75% markup on those 8 packs, and that kinda drove my friends to start rolling their own rather than to hit that "rock bottom" again. ;)

Artificial Excess is also something that factors in. From time to time, I'll pay someone with a box of camel wides if I want to essentially say, yeah, you deserve something, but I'd rather just shoot you. :D Better yet, hand over the box where other smokers can see that they have it and watch the hilarity.

Now if I'd just given them $60-$80, that could be hidden, no problem. And if people found they had it, they wouldn't drive across town to mooch $5. But due to the mooch factor with smokers, well... They're gonna be REALLY popular for about a week. And all of em are gonna smoke til they turn green.

Especially if they're used to smoking whatever cheap assed China Moon brand they can get for $5 a pack. :D
