I’m just now seeing this and it will probably get buried but at least I can put the info out there. I work where we make key safety components that are made for the model 3. I’m not going to give out too much information because it could cost me my job but The endless amount of pure shit we send out of our plant every day to put on these cars baffles me. I work in a specific department and see it on a day to day basis. Production stops it,we inspect it and higher up comes along 2 minutes later and sends it on to the truck. I’m talking cracked product,separation within itself,etc.. I promise we are trying our best to contain it,but our “engineers” and “managers” in charge of the program give absolute zero fucks about these brakes to the point of downright lying to (our customer who supplies Tesla with this product) about quality issues and the ability for this product to perform of said basis. Sad part is Tesla is slinging these piles of shit together so fast they don’t care what we send them as long as it half ass passes inspection.

TLDR: these cars are getting junk product from suppliers and it’s going to be a shitshow.
