The real mindfuck is when you realize these are the same people that ran everything for most of human history. If history has taught us anything, its that these folks are psychopaths that would use you as cannon fodder if they thought it would help themselves.

Humans have not fundamentally changed for a very long time, it's the system that we live in that has changed.

We used to live in a society where the rich ran everything and your place in life was determined by who your father was.

The democracy, was applied, things got a little better. Through time, our democracy has become more representative and things are better still.

People like Musk seem to want to go back to a time when they make all the decisions for everyone, ie the dark ages.
