This feels lke what is going on with the education system in Quebec/Canada.

A few years back, the government open their budget and started to equip every damn classes in all the schools with an interactive board, and laptops for all the teachers. The process took 5 years.

Last year, they started to put more budget into this and give a number of credits that every school can spend on new techno stuff. Laptops, tablets, etc.

I just learn today that this new mesure is suppose to last for 5 years too.

Sound so damn good, but what most people fail to understand is that with all of this, nothing at all was give to help support the addition of all these equipments.

We are still a few bunch of IT guy that have to support the current equipments, and they just give give give more and more stuff and they don't give a fuck about the support that needs to come with all of this.
