Elon Musk has started a YouTube campaign to convince everyone that all billionaires should be exempt from paying taxes.

Don't "suck it up and be grateful".

Feel like this what my parents say every day. They are pissy that stood up to my employer. They scoff and moan whener it comes up. I was brought on for 6 month contract to hire position.

Once I began to see how busy and difficult the work was and how little training I was given and how short staffed the help desk was I told them I didn't believe the compensation was in line.

especially since how this whole thing works is that the recruiters that wrote this contract are invoicing them for some higher hourly wage unknown to me and paying me 14$/hr with no benefits. I told them I am not looking to extend that contract and that if they want to keep me they'll need to make me an offer as a full time employee with benefits.

My contract ended at the beginning of this week. They told me they will extend it indefinitely until the offer letter is delivered. They've been stringing me along for weeks. Telling us not to look for outside work the company will take care of us level 1s. "Great company, global, best benefits" direct quote. They are stringing along tons of contracted tech support agents.

I told them I won't be returning to work unless it offer letter is presented. Again. Assured it was on the way. Still crickets.

Monday I have an interview. They'll be lucky if I don't email the entire desk and let them know they're all being exploited and paid at different rates. I'd also encourage them to collectively bargain for better compensation. Followed by a slowdown if they are not taken seriously. Walk off(log off) as a last resort.

I was told by my team lead they have a mandate not lose anymore people until 180 days(enough time to bring in new unaware victims). This would demolish the current what I'm sure is a multi-million dollar contract with a fortune 500.
