I said the cbc is serving as a proxy for the city in this case and I’m allowed to critique and compare. In my opinion, Ryan has unearthed so much stuff that shows the city is just as involved in this mess but none of that makes it anywhere. The city is just as bad in this job but i have not seen anything critical from the ceeb. Is cbc really trying to get to the heart of the story or have they already decided for us. Maybe there’s much more to this than just the court filings? The cbc story is repeating allegations from the original search warrant and literally wrote an article about these motions a couple of weeks ago. I want to hear what the defense is. No one has bothered to report that. Aren’t we supposed to be objective? I worked in this fn building. I have never seen so many changes thrown down the chute because it was so mismanaged from the user side. In construction, the rules of engagement are within the contract and we don’t know how both sides interpreted. If the city was actually in a fixed price contract, they aren’t entitled to invoices. Contractor takes the risk; contractor keeps the profit. Maybe they were in a cost plus type but it wasn’t administered that way. That matters!So far in this case, we have a summary judgement ruling against sheegl without any evidence provided by Caspian. Why would we rule on something that we don’t have all the information on? How do we know anything? I’m not willing to put all my money on defending any party but I’m also not ready to completely close my mind. I just think there’s so much more to this and I fee it’s becoming sensationalized in the absence of any real tested information.
