Embattled Washington County State's Attorney, Scott Williams, resigns. He has been out of the office on leave since early November. And the 5 attorney office has only had 2 attorneys and a law clerk this whole time.

well if officials would answer said questions it might help. As for the fund, Williams sent the state a six-page response to the questions investigators had. That document has been posted online by the Times Argus. It's been covered by multiple news outlets. He tried to create the fund even though state officials said state's attorneys should Not be taking in money for any reason.

For the other points, a state's attorney carrying a gun to work isn't out of the ordinary when literally no other state's attorney did that before? And now the state clarified saying "You can't unless you get training"? Which Williams admitted he never received. A judge dismissing a sex assault case against a child because the state didn't address it isn't out of the ordinary? Where did you used to live?
