'The emergency phase of COVID-19 is over': Doctors' group urges Biden administration to revise guidelines for children

“I know everyone is fed up,” wrote Sarah Wildman, whose teenage daughter has undergone treatment for cancer, as mask mandates and other restrictions fell away throughout the spring. “I wonder whether it is unfair for me to insist others care. I am a special request. I am a problem. I like the rules. The more the world opens up, the more cornered I feel. I do not want us to return to isolation.”

Yes, you are a problem, and yes, it IS unfair for you to insist others “care”. I don’t care.

The more the world closes down to cater to people like you, the more cornered I feel. But my feelings don’t matter right? The millions of people who have worked throughout the entire pandemic and been forced to wear masks all day in service and manufacturing industries every day don’t matter. then we had our livelihoods threatened by vaccine mandates if we chose not to get it… but who cares, we are only here to serve YOU, Sara. Your highness.
