Emotional Blunting

I think you should learn to combat your anxiety without the medication. I know its harder than it sounds but medication usually has some sort of effect and it doesn't fix the problem it just masks it. Maybe now that you've been on Lexapro and you've felt what it's like to not have anxiety that you could somehow try to get yourself to feel that way without it. Stuff like that could maybe help in the beginning but then once you've felt how much just a little pill has helped you you could try to bring about those feelings on your own. Try not to let you mind control you. If your feeling anxious just know that it's your brain being mean but you don't have to listen to it. You could try meditating and pretend you don't even have a body at all....
