Empathy quotient test. Where do you land, and how do you feel about it?

Thank you for responding. Can you elaborate, please? The only time I've ever heard the phrase "control questions" used is when you get asked several questions that are essentially the same thing reworded to make sure you're consistent, but two of these don't match that, and the other two, while I can see the "manners" connection in one, are flawed if that's their purpose.

Good manners are not the most important thing a parent can teach their child. The most important thing a parent can teach their child is: "don't do these things that will directly cause you to die or have a high chance of killing you or resulting in serious injury." Manners are, at best, a secondary concern. You make sure your kid doesn't stick silverware in the sockets before you teach them to set silverware out for guests or which piece of silverware to use when eating different things. Doesn't make much sense to me that anyone who thinks about that question for more than a second or so would choose "strongly agree".

As for question four, maybe people are just scared of heights.
