Employee's of Mcdonalds, do you like your job?

It has its moments... Overall I hate it, and would love to work somewhere else, but when offered another job, I chickened out, and stayed where I am. I did not want to leave my comfort zone.

What I don’t like... the pay, working 6 days a week at 4:30am for less than $250 a week. The way none of the rules are enforced. Irresponsibility of my coworkers. Lack of benefits (we don’t get free food at my store) Can be a very hostile unprofessional work environment.

What I DO like... I know my job. I have job security. I shine above my coworkers, so the managers stay off my behind. I don’t act a fool, so within reason, I can do whatever I want. I really love some of my coworkers and customers.

I do think that if the pay and benefits were a little better, and management cracked down on people who never come to work, people who don’t want to do their jobs, and stopped letting kids talk stupid nonsense over those headsets (the headsets that we use to take orders, have a button where we can talk to each other... sometimes people clown on those... it’s like being in a classroom when the teacher leaves for an emergency! lol).

I’d love my job a lot more, if those few things changed.

Keep in mind, each store a different. The store owned by the same person in the next town over, is run like North Korea, and you can get fired for rolling your eyes... so each experience is unique! Good luck, and enjoy your new job!
