Employees Quitting Twitter in Droves

So you're saying that companies should have a clause that says it's okay for people to speak publicly in a way that hurts the image of the company so long as a product they work on gets called out publicly? That doesn't make sense.

It seems like you're on the side of the engineer on a personal level (I am too) and are working backwards from that point to justify why they shouldn't have fired him. I'm all for him speaking out, personally I think it's hilarious and I like that he did, but I also don't think it's unreasonable for them to not want to keep someone who does that. There are soooo many things to criticize Elon for because it has been a dumpster fire since he took Twitter over, so stories don't need to be twisted to fit the narrative. There is already so much to choose from.
