Employers of Reddit, what jobs are you finding to be impossible to fill?

The commute will usually be brutal, especially if you're from somewhere like Maine and not used to the traffic. Most places I suggest will be around an hour on the train, or an hour + driving depending on where in Boston you work. But obviously in Southern MA you'd want to work on the South Side of Boston.

Start looking at places like Hanson, Abington, Whitman, Sharon, Stoughton, Canton. These places are just outside of the 95 ring that circles outer Boston but have a very reasonable commute and affordable on Boston wages.

Next would be towns off of 95 or 24. Like Bridgewater, Mansfield, Raynham, Foxboro, Walpole, Easton, Brockton or Taunton(the last 2 if you don't mind being in the ghetto or are a big fan of drugs). These commutes start to get on the longer side, but still bearable. The towns off of 95 also open Providence for you at this point as well, Providence has some big name companies like Fidelity, Citizens Bank, Lifespan, Hasbro. Both 24 and 95 also intersect with 495, which can take you to Worcester which is another major city in Mass and can have some good jobs.

Further down in my neck of the woods you have the towns off of 195. You can take 195 to get to 24 and go into Boston, but at this point you'd really want to take the train or find something on the outskirts of Boston like in Dedham, Braintree, Quincy,or something. You still have the option to work in Providence, or if you're in the medical sector there are a lot of good jobs in New Bedford or Fall River, even though those 2 towns are trash heaps. If you come this far down you'd want to look at places like Fairhaven, Rehobeth, Dighton, Freetown, Somerset.
