The Empty Morality of Dr.Krakower

Well obviously Krakower is incidentally correct outside of any particulars whatsoever. But it doesn't bother you that Carmela walks into his office on session number one and before it's even over he's dishing out these major life decisions?

Of course it's all about 'what he knew.' What else could he possibly work off of as a health professional? If a heart surgeon only heard a rumor about you being a heavy drinker should they work off that hearsay alone?

Nothing in this show is purely utilitarian. '...because the character was written to get it right...' is kind of a weak argument. In a lot of ways he's just another man condescending to her and telling her what to do. His 'cold turkey' ideology never works in any related situation and came off as curt and uninvolved.
