In CMs you burst 100k+ dps and everything is either dead or almost dead. AA are irrelevant. Haven't played EoD but even with PoF cFB could burst 120k in pugs.

In raids, since bosses have more HP, AA come into play. Assuming the support is good and allows the dps to dps. And even then most of the time it matters only if you manage to end the AA chain. AA chains are heavily backended, making it a skillful minmax thing. It is even then not required AT ALL to do very good dps. If your support is not good however, AAs lose all priority. If your argument AA is a filler, sure. But in gw2 casuals use AA more than just a filler. People don't care and I've seen it.

Bro I had even out dps'ed people from qT and SC. Addmitingly in pugs and not always. Subi is (was?) a god.
