Why do i end up binging on carbs after fasting :(

Rather than take the approach that you must simply will yourself to what you want, I prefer pragmatic approaches. Next time you fast, make sure there are no cookies or any kind of carby foods in your house. I find that after breaking a fast, it is best to do it with a very high fat meal, for example something with a very spicy mayo, that will force you to eat slowly and also satiate you. Vegetables have an effect where they stimulate an appetite. They are best to be avoided. Usually, I break with a very large helping of beef broth with pepper and ginger and lots of salt. Then I have a lean protein with some spicy mayo. You will then be very, very full.
