Enjoying your job

Man, you're just a genuinely unlikable person. You're very quick to call people names, are aggressive, and use an embarrassing amount of fallacies so that "you're always right." You literally made a claim that isn't true, and instead of just pulling the footfrom your mouth, you come back with a no true scotsman and ad hominem. Reading some of your posts in here makes me sincerely hope you're a high schooler trying to act big and tough. I wouldn't normally waste my time responding to a person like you, because skimming your post history makes it very clear that you're an angry, delusional person, claiming to have knowledge that you clearly don't, and getting angry when people who probably do know what they're talking about are stepping in to say "that doesn't sound right." If it were just me, I'd laugh at you and move on, but you're doing this to just about every person you interact with on this site.

So here's why I'm taking the time to write this. You have claimed to be a professional. Your behavior, demenor, and questionable knowledge make me seriously doubt you are. However, it does mean you either really are one, or want to be one, which means my advice will work either way.

Behaving like you are doesn't cut it in the work place. If you are ever privalleged enough to land a symphony gig, watch your mouth. People don't tolerate aggressive knowitalls in the work place. It's a surefire way to fail your tenure board.

If by some strange reason you really are a professional; same advice. Even tenure won't necessarily save you if enough people want you gone. And trust me, if you act at work like you've acted on reddit, people want you gone.

The precedent has been set.
