Enlisted Stratification AMA

This is the real question. Even in the current CSAF reading list books they mention how fast stratification can erode a company from it’s primary goals. Honestly a little bummed at this AMA. The other questions I’ve seen are pretty boiler plate and this one is answered with (essentially) “I don’t know”.

Chief - if we know the AF is behind why isn’t there more of an effort to catch up. In many ways if CMSGT Wright takes away staff and tsgt testing aren’t we just back to the same system that WAPS was trying to prevent?

What about anything in the boards is moving in the right direction in your opinion? How is this helping “talent management”?

Someone who knows nothing about my career field will read my record for a few minutes once a year to decide if I’m worthy to lead (potentially) a squadron. Doesn’t this seem off compared to how successful companies choose managers?
