No offense taken. Just to clarify for you though...there was no criminal that “I just armed” - but there was a criminal who broke a window out of my car, rummaged through every closed compartment and stole a legally owned firearm that was being stored in its carrying case.

Nor was I mad the cop didn’t chase him down and have a Dirty Harry style shootout, but more sympathetic towards someone who is unable to do their job because A) it’s pointless trying to locate a crazed criminal roaming the streets because they’re a dime a dozen out here and B) Police are for the most part told not to interfere or “harass” (ask simple questions) without fear of losing their job because it may make the crazed criminals feel more uncomfortable than they normally do on their daily Heroin or Meth induced benders.

I think people are concerned that for some reason it seems like there are more protections in place for non law-abiding citizens.
