Entertainment Law?

Jesus Christ, It seems like everyone and their mother wants to do entertainment law lol... I don’t get it. Anyway, I think if you have WE in the entertainment industry then you’re in a great position to create an amazing personal statement highlighting your career path and how it’s led you to apply to law school. Don’t worry about adcoms thinking it’s “less serious”... it sounds like you’re leaving a career to go to law school which shows you’re serious as cancer about what you want to do. (Law schools like professionals and you sound like a professional in the entertainment industry)

As for which schools you should aim for, that question doesn’t have a clear cut answer. It depends on cost, location, the risk you’re willing to take for BL or entertainment. It also kinda depends on which one you want more. For example, duke will give you a much better shot at BL but I’d argue UCLA gives you a much better shot at entertainment. Both goals are attainable from both schools but... ya know... it depends... It’s hard to say. I’m sorry, but i don’t think I can really answer that question. Either way, good luck!! Sounds like you’re gonna kill the lsat and you’ll have some great options to choose from in the next cycle.
