Epic FTC Settlement and moving beyond long-standing industry practices

This is a somewhat misinformed if not a bit disingenuous hot take. Mega Bloks has big bricks for pre-schoolers but has also been a so-called "competitor" to Lego for decades at this point. It's the biggest reason a lot of people tend to hate them for being an inferior counterpart. Lego has abstained from militaristic sets and avoids franchises that closely resemble them. While they'll happily make anything Star Wars, they'd never touch a brand like Halo. Mega Bloks has been able to settle into that niche by going after the the types of builders who want to make things that Lego never will.

You wouldn't call this Lego millenium falcon "designed for preschoolers" just because Duplo also exists.
