I’m still enjoying it but I know what you mean. There’s something about the pacing I’m not fond of so far. The episodes each move along at a nice clip and but not much is actually happening. It doesn’t feel like must-watch-tv because it’s just plodding along. My thinking is it’s missing dynamics. Everything seems to have the same level of stakes and everything is the same grandiose size. Like it’s missing levity and perspective. Also, some of the dialog sounds a bit stilted to my ears because it’s underwritten. If they expanded the dialog there would be more flow and connection and instead of telling about things being high stakes we’d see and really feel.
