EQing Headphones to Higher "Tiers"

I disagree if the headphones imaging is high to fantastic, It doesn't matter how shit the stage is. Since imaging can fake a wide soundstage, The ER4SR to me is a 1 ft wide bubble but on some stuff it can be 5+ on some stuff. While the HD650 suffers from poor imaging.

You can mimic them fine on limited gear, The HD600/650 have bad THD in the subbass area. Yet it can handle 5db+ sub-bass boosts if careful since our hearing is not that sensitive there.

No idea why that bad idea when people for decades loved tube amp's, Which have horrid THD and the warmness is from of coloured distortion. Easy enough to switch to a better measuring mid tier can.
