"Equal rights for men and women" - Mike Buchanan's speech at the International Conference of Men's Issues

Men's rights and women's rights are two sides of the same coin, as both suffer (and benefit) from gender inequality but in different ways. If these guys are solely concerned with achieving a fairer society for men, they should be working together with feminist movements to fight established gender inequality for men as well as for women.

Instead they just seem to use up most of their energy trying to oppose feminism by using men's rights issues to downplay and deflect attention from women's rights issues. This just makes their own movement look reactionary and regressive, as after 100 years of progress, most of the first world now agrees that feminist movements are a good thing.
