Equality vs Freedom

Equal in rights vs equal in ability.

All men are created equal in that no man has more rights than another ( unless they loose those rights by felony)

Vs

All men are created equal in that no man's ability is more than another.

Clearly the second is false, some are born with out hands or feet and some are color blind. A person who can not distinguish red and green can not be an electrician. They physically can't see a color another can.

All men are equal in the eyes of the law. Just because you're a cop, judge, or politician does not change your legal rights.

The civil Rights were caught over what "all men" referred to. It doesn't say "all white men" nor does it mention women. The common interpretation is that all humans are created equal in the eyes of the law.
