Esdeath vs Hades ( Akame ga kill vs Saint Seiya )

Hades is much too powerful.

In the manga, it took the combined efforts of all 5 of Athena's Saints - each of them wearing God Cloths - PLUS Athena herself, to defeat Hades - the Supreme Being of the Underworld.

God Cloths were stated capable of withstanding / tanking attacks as powerful as the Big Bang, that's why most characters in Saint Seiya who either are Gods (like Hades) - or who were at least wearing God Cloths temporarily at some point of the story (like Athena's Saints / the main protagonists of the manga) - are usually powerscaled upwards to universe level Attack Power and Durability (sometimes higher) - in most fandom wikis which are specialized on powerscaling .

Speed is the other important statistic for which most of the strong & relevant characters from Saint Seiya (like e.g. main protagonists , or the main antagonists such as Hades) have a multitude of statements in their manga which put them on "at least" Light Speed, and with fan calculations much faster than only that.

Esdeath has at most mountain level immediate feats (e.g. freezing a big river), and she's at most country level with feats that take a very long time to be ultimately accomplished (e.g. causing a snowstorm which affected a country).

Speedwise, Esdeath scales a tiny little bit (not much) above Akame, who is massively hypersonic (somwhere in the 1000s of Mach).

In the big 3 relevant statistics (attack power, durability, speed) Esdeath is gravely outmatched by Hades, so she shouldn't really have a chance to beat Hades.

However, Esdeath also has Time Freeze / Time Stop - which is a Hax so broken it has to potential to defeat almost any opponent if she can land it - or let's say: it could defeat at least any opponent who has no feats which suggest that they resisted a reasonably similar hax (time stop / time manipulation) in their own verse . Of what I can remember about Hades (I only read the original Saint Seiya manga ages ago) he does not have any feats of "resisting time manipulation" , so Esdeath's Hax might well affect him too.

All in all I'd still give it to Hades 99 out of 100 times, Hades wins.
