Oh my GOD, the fanbase for Hollow Knight is insufferable! Nobody is allowed to like any game more than your precious Hollow Knight without you calling their opinion un-serious because of "gameplay" and "content," the two most vague and meaningless terms you can use when discussing a game. Do you ever get tired of smelling your own farts?

Guacamelee is more fun to play than Hollow Knight. The way each attack also grants a new movement ability is pure genius, and stringing them together to clear platforming challenges while fighting bad guys is muy delicioso. The grapple and throw mechanic is also super fun. That you can somehow grab an enemy and turn it into an aimed projectile in any direction without seeing down the pace of combat is a minor miracle of game design.

As far as "more content = gooder game," first of all, I don't know how that can be considered a SeRiOuS dIsCuSsIoN, but also, Super Metroid has less "content" than either of these games and it's still the best Metroidvania ever.

I like Hollow Knight, I really do. But I can't take any more of its fans charging into every discussion demanding that everyone love it as much as they do. I'm sorry for unloading on you, but this is like the fifth time this week I've seen an HK fan act like the grand judge of gaming opinions...
