eSport ready

I don't understand the urge to immediately find a reason to defend the game. It's got some huge latency issues, on top of other massive deficits, and the whole point of EA alpha is to let the devs know in what ways their game needs work.

What I saw here is the game 1) ignoring armor, and 2) getting OP killed while he was behind cover.

If I play 5 games in a session, I'm nearly guaranteed to see at least one death to desync, like what is shown in the OP. I duck behind a wall, and get one-shotted even though there's a solid piece of concrete between me and the other guy. Put the iron sights on a dude's head and fire from 5 meters away, only to miss entirely.

I've recorded and seen in-game footage of the desync issue so many times at this point it's becoming cliche. You just can't trust your cover or your crosshairs/iron sights. It's a 50/50 chance (my exaggerated estimate) whether or not your client, his client, and the server are all going to agree on how the interaction occurred.

This is probably the desync-iest game I've ever played, and that's saying something. Arma was never so frequently desynced, and that's the game that brought the word "DESYNC" into the common gaming nomenclature.
