Essence Reaver into Nashor's + ultimate hunter.

the on hit evens out the ad in the end

On-hit doesn't scale with crit, meaning it doesn't even out. You get 27 on-hit damage from Nashor's and 25 AD from TForce. The AD is worth more both in terms of gold value and in terms of DPS gained, increasing if you get more crit - AD also scales better than on-hit with Ashe because of 10% AD bonus from passive and Q flurries scaling off AD. BorK is an exception here because it's already so insanely cost efficient. Nashor's having 10% more ASPD evens things out a bit - but the inefficiency is NOT theoretical.

Idk the inneficency is more theoretical than in practice where the on hit evens out the ad in the end

The inefficiency is entirely practical. You spend 1740 gold on AP, which is essentially a useless stat. You can barely even factor in how useful the damage on your ult is because it's such a minor and nearly irrelevant use case compared to how any other champion uses AP.

That 1740 gold that's all going to waste - when spent instead on Trinity Force, that 1740g gives you +250 hp and mana, Rage passive which is insanely good on Ashe, 5% mspd which is also insanely good on Ashe, and Spellblade which you should be able to proc on CD if you have good micro and 2 stacks of Hawkshot up.

I tested the DPS values of both Nashor's and Trinity, only autoing for stacks of Q and then continuing to auto until Lethal Tempo wore off. For the sake of tackling the strongest argument against Trinity, I did NOT utilize all my abilities for Trinity procs on cooldown - only the one I get from pressing Q.

Nashor's: ~296dps

Trinity: ~340dps

I am genuinely invested in finding a use case for Nashor's - but I simply cannot abide by it without some strong data-backed arguments that refute all these points.
