I've posted this before, I've seen a few DZ posts of late talking about getting back the tension. Here's my two cents. The Tier 6 DZ is a brutal, highly rewarding server. Exotics and high stat rolled gear drops with a much, much higher frequency than normal, meaning that great gear is easy to find. Now you just have to get it out.

Tier 6 is inhabited by legendary NPC's. Tons of them. Extraction points are often guarded heavily and hunters will spawn. NPC's will continue to spawn throughout the extraction AND hunters will attempt to cut your rope. This place is brutal. It's the hardest place to farm but if you extract, you will be heavily rewarded.

Obviously there's PVP. In tier 6 you aren't going to get very far trying to run through or against legendary NPC's so hijacking and going rogue will require some strategy. I want to make clear this isn't a care-bear DZ. This is elite level, hard as fuck content for people prepared to risk it. This is not the content for you if you can't handle being ganked or outgunned. It's primary function is to promote strategic teamwork and to give you something to actually care about gear wise. Maybe massive could put some new exotics in the rotation. BEING FULLY SPECCED AND LEVELED UP WITH ELITE GEAR IS ESSENTIAL.

For solo players, I think it would only be fair to go to a scaled solo server. Again though, this isn't easy street. Expect it to be brutal. TL:DR Let's make a top tier, hardest most brutal DZ full of legendary NPC's and top tier and exotic loot dropping all over the shop. Let's make it so hard that actually extracting gear feels like a huge achievement. The goal is simply to bring back the tension of old.
