Ethan on Twitter, "I think “fame” has definitely made me a worse person overall. More arrogant, defensive, distrustful, cynical. Over the past year I’ve started to hate myself. I hope by saying it, I can try to guide myself to a better state of being."

What are they going through though? Neither of them has had a bad life. They both come from good families, neither grew up in poverty, they struggled financially in their early 20s together, but everyone does, Ethan's mother had some health scares, she's fine now, Hila's father has cancer, but that's not to say he won't recover. Neither of them have lost family, or suffered any real tragedy at all. So what is anyone to feel badly for them for? Ethan does have a strong history of needing to at least appear on top in the court of public opinion, always have the moral high ground, whether genuine or not. So when I see him saying things like this so closely after being criticized once again, I usually wonder how sincere it is or is he manipulating the emotions of his viewers?
