EU is also the fast shipping just a few days which would cost $30 on main Pine Store.

I don't live in EU so I order from main Pine store (get all my stuff shipped from Shenzhen, China).

To be fair, you are not compairing equivalent things:
Pine main Store (ships from china)

• $12 slow shipping from (3 - 7weeks), only 30days warranty, no VAT/taxes include which you pay to courier when the box arrives to your country.
• to be more equal comparison, add in $30 Courier shipping from the Pine Store to EU since that is more 5-7 business days. EU is the faster shipping, not the 3 week.
• Also add in for 2 year warranty parts and labor the EU shop is including. Pine Store only gives 30 days.
• Also add in that EU shop is a reseller and has to pay Pine store to first ship all goods from China to Poland so they can offer the easier distribution to EU customers. They also have to pay separate Business fees and taxes just to operate. all of that gets added to cost.
• Add in convenience of not needed to deal with local Post office or courier to pay VAT when the box arrives since EU shop takes care of it all and Pine store does not. Some countries in EU charge VAT on total cost of item Including Shipping.
• One example: Dancho reported paying about $52.20 total (USD equivalent) in the end getting from Pine main store ( only saved $7.80 from just buying it at EU shop. now he only has 30 day warranty).
• If you add in just the $30 courier faster shipping from Pine store which is more similar to the shipping speed the EU shop gives, then EU is a cheaper than Pine Store. that is the more equal comparison b/c of the shipping speed.
• Even if you stick to $12 slow 3-week shipping from Pine store for comparison of prices: many members in Pinecil official Discord/Telegram have compared the full price with VAT they paid ordering from Pine store (ships from China). it's only ~$10 difference between EU and Pine store.
  
• This extra $10 seemed reasonable to some people to (1) get 2 year warranty (2) get fast shipping from EU shop to their house not waiting 3-7 weeks (3) deal with local EU seller for issues/returns/repairs and not China (4) they realize that EU shop has to pay for shipping from China to Poland, and Business fees/taxes as a reseller just to keep the lights on. The Pinecils don't just ship to Poland reseller store for free so EU shop pays shipping 2 times (once to get it to them in bulk, and once to ship to EU people). this is how local reseller distribution works.
• FYI read the About page on Pine64EU.com store, the operate independently for business purposes in the EU, therefore they pay Pine Store for everything & shipping just like other resellers do, and they pay all local business fees to operate. they can't sell for the same price because they have to pay each fee in the Chain to get it from Pine store ==> EU ==> local customers.
• yes going to the source where they make it in shenzhen, china is cheaper by about $10 in the end and you wait 3-7 weeks for slow shipping option (mostly 3 weeks). but not that much cheaper overall if you consider the other benefits of local EU shop.
• Each person will compare if this small difference is worth it to them. but it is not 50% less to get it from main Pine store and this is from feed back of many people in Pinecil official live channel where people report real cost they paid from Pine Store main.
