That's just the truth unfortunately, whether you like it or not. It doesn't matter if it's your first game or you've been a season ticket holder for 20 seasons, it's your backside on a seat and the money comes rolling in.

That's not to say i'm encouraging people to roll over and die, far from it. By all means protest, make your voice heard, try to hit them where it hurts.

Clubs have seen through COVID that viewing figures are pretty reasonable and through a lack of fans in stadiums that we're almost redundant. They can see that they can get by without the same 40,000+ in a stadium every week.

"This is not my fucking club until they step down from this." makes me think that you're done with the club, but if they back down then you'll be more accepting of them again. Is that all it would take for you?
