I want the eagles to win a SB in my life time. We're really close and its not because Chip. It's because the team. Cutting Mathis denies all football logic. Most eagle fans know Evan owns a gym in Arizona. He spends as much time as he can there training himself and others. He knows football doesn't last forever and he's got himself a little thing on the side. Evan clearly wanted more money. Was he rocking the boat tho? IMO absolutely not. He's doing the same routine he's done for years and now suddenly something changed and Chip said enough. It's one thing if he's in town and just being a baby. It's totally different if he's in Arizona training with other world class athletes, the camp is voluntary, and he wasn't warned. I believe he was genuinely surprised to get cut, and that in itself tells you that he wasn't looking to get cut. So there's a clear problem with Chip failing to communicate his wants.

I've thought a little bit into the conspiracy shit. I know Lane was training at his gym and got busted for PEDs. We have a shitload of players right now already with 1 PED strike. All this is pure speculation, but just doing a little research into the athletes he's trained with there could be some circumstantial stuff. To be clear tho, I'm not really trying to accuse him of anything. Just an example of what kind of thoughts fans can have when dealing with fucked up shit like this. I feel there is something more to the story, but they'll never tell. In the mean time until something else happens you just get left wondering.
