Evan Rachel Wood and Others Make Allegations of Abuse Against Marilyn Manson

Your string of comments seem to be more about you feeling right. Dozens of ex addicts in this thread, myself included, have voiced up that addiction never caused us to sexually assault people. Not a great sample size, but what are you offering? Now you're talking down to a recovery professional.

Drug addiction is seriously bad stuff, but it doesn't just cause you to sexually assault people, for years, horrifically, in the way that drug and alcohol addiction cause you to lose your job, alienate people, lose your priorities, etc. Would an addiction allow someone with these tendencies to be less restrained? Obviously. But it wouldn't just appear from substance use disorder for the average user. That's not just a symptom of addiction.
