The fact evangelicals have such a large stake in governmental decisions is terrifying.

I'm a member of The Satanic Temple, it's one of the only reasonable religions (granted it's non theistic). We believe in science, truth and self betterment..unlike other religions we don't hit children or pander fake news for our personal betterment.

Hell, if Jesus in your eyes (who would have been brown skinned, not the hippy bearded carpenter you think he was) showed up in Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Middle East, Africa etc you can bet that evangelicals and Republicans would reject him. If he performed a miracle (because that's what you believe) being brown skinned you'd call him a false prophet.
