Ah. Well I'm an agnostic atheist toward all religion, but I really dislike when people get so angry over things that like in real life. People can believe what they want to believe (even though I think it's nonsense). But I don't think less of the actual people that do believe. People of all religions can be amazing human beings. I just disagree with a lot of the more zealot and/or questionable things of any religion, especially in regard in how they treat other people in modern day.

I'm sorry you had to go through the almost-violence of those things you described. I don't agree ever with doing that. It's good to have a safe space to gather in person to talk about your/anyones beliefs.
