The best part? Ratthew (blue rat, main character) is THE ONLY ONE in his colony who is capable of sniffing out rat poison on foods, and ensuring that they don’t get poisoned, but decides to become a chef instead. When he does become a chef, he helps the red head guy by doing everything for him instead of actually teaching him how to cook, a really important life skill. The short guy, although he did try to cover up the original owner’s will, actually did a decent job of running the restaurant and even tried to expand into frozen food versions of the restaurant’s food, allowing distant audiences to enjoy their food while at the same time raking in more money for the restaurant.
