It’s not the easiest way to kill something actually. First let me say I don’t trophy hunt, I do hunt but only for food. I would never kill something I won’t use for food. Using a rifle to kill an animal whether it be for food or population control is much more humane way to kill than using a “knife and wrestling it”. So what would impress you? A malice? An axe? A spear? You want to hack the poor creature to death? A properly placed shot is the most humane way to kill a game animal. Also you are not taking into account the time spent tracking, stalking and just looking for the animal, there’s nothing easy about that, have you ever hiked for miles with everything you need to be self sustained for a week? And you’re hunting in extremes; whether it be snowing or tracking on a ridge 10,000+ up, It’s not wimpy at all. The appropriate governing body determines how many can be harvested food or how many of said animal should be taken out for population control. OP knows so little about about a subject but somehow has an unpopular opinion. Stick to Pokémon go. Trophy hunting is weak… but some places use it as population control and the locals are able to make some sort of living off it, the meat is usually given to the locals for consumption. Lastly: you couldn’t hit a 5 inch target with a rifle at 50 yards even if you had 20 attempts…
